EPortfolio uses network platform to display the talents and experiences of people. We can see it as a super CV presented by web design.

Here are some experiences I got in my ePortfolio project:

Firstly, carefully select platform：you can choose wordPress, Wix or Weebly. I finally chose Wix. Its free version is already good enough for novice and advanced needs.

Secondly, the overall frame design is very important. The layout of pages should be logical. The main content should be obvious. Besides, the convenience of users should always be considered. It’s better to build a flow chart before you begin.

The aesthetics is also important. The colors, proportions, and dynamic contents may bring the webpage an atmosphere attractive or disturbing.

You may try hundreds of time for some tiny details. Have patience and don’t forget to save your changes frequently.

Of course, this is also a very interesting process, especially the application of user thinking to design and improve, not only helps in webpage design, but also bring me a habit to listen to others’ opinions.

EPortfolio is really a powerful tool to present one person. While I enjoy the ePortfolios of my classmates, I learned more about these companions, and feel closer with them.
